Sherlock Holmes: Hound of the Baskervilles - Arthur Conan Doyle

The Sherlock Holmes tales always meant a lot to me growing up, especially the editions I had with the original artwork from the magazines. But something I always missed was how the illustrations were so stately, and the books so thin, and pulpy. So I have produced my own version that I imagine Holmes would want to keep on his own shelf.

This is a hand-sized, three-piece Bradel bind. The cover has been bound in beautiful textured Holland paper, and the spine of the cover in a faux (vegan) red leather. The book itself has been hand-stitched, and I have rounded the spine to ensure the weight of the text block is best supported.
